Gilda Cook, 83, passed away February 1, 2013. Born in Cleveland and graduated from John Adams High School in 1948, Gilda lived most of her life in Stow.
Gilda is preceded in death by mother Virginia Catullo, father Patsy Catullo and sister Lillian Thomas. She is survived by daughter Michelle (Steve) D'Amico; grandchildren Maria and Joseph; sister Loretta (Ed) Novotney; ex husband and life friend, Ronald Cook; home health aide and friend, Kathy Claxton and many loving nieces and nephews.
Gilda enjoyed playing volleyball, gardening, dancing and walking for miles and miles. Gilda also enjoyed working with the Leukemia Society of America, the Cancer Fund and March of Dimes.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Wednesday 2 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friendsmay call Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 12 noon until service time. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Gilda's video tribute may be seen here.
