Obituary of Grace Carney
Grace Carney, 89, passed away June 29, 2010 at Akron General Medical Center with her son John and family at her side.
Grace was the daughter of the late August and Bertha Novotny. She was retired from The Sherwin Williams Company, where she met and wed her beloved late husband John. She was the loving grandmother of two and great-grandmother of five.
Grace loved family gatherings and holidays that brought her joy. She especially loved all animals in her life, and was an avid member of a horse rescue most recently.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 12 noon until 1:30 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 PM. Private interment for family will be held at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Donations in memory of Grace may be made at www.anotherchancehorserescueohio.com.
