Grace Pizzute

Grace JoAnn Pizzute, 93, slipped away peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on July 5, 2010.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Tony and son Tom Pizzute.

She is survived by her daughter Terri (Jim) Vespoint and son Lenny (Christine) Pizzute. She also leaves to mourn her passing grandchildren Tom (Bev) Pizzute, Anthony (Barb) Pizzute, Steven Pizzute, Macoy Pizzute, Jim Vespoint Jr., Jimmy (Debbie) Vespoint, Tony (Heather) Vespoint, former daughter-in-law Ruth Congrove and nine great grandchildren.

Gracie wore many hats during her long life. She was once a farmer, food service employee, business owner and store clerk. Her greatest endeavor was motherhood. She provided us with much love and guidance. While growing up all of our friends referred to her as Mom because everyone was always welcome at our dinner table.

Gracie will be sadly missed by her extended family of caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living who she always greeted with hugs and kisses. We are eternally grateful for their compassionate loving care.

We also thank the special people of Crossroads Hospice who provided Gracie with a constant vigil of tender empathy during her passing.

Graveside services will be conduct by Pastor Jeffrey HancockFriday July9 1 PM at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, Ohio.
