STOW- Harry Albert Sayer, 80, died with dignity at his home on November 27, 2016 with family by his side. Born in Akron, he lived in the Stow-Munroe Falls area since 1960, was a one time member of the Munroe Falls Volunteer Police Dept., had retired from General Tire after 30 years service and was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Harry's greatest pride was being a US Marine Corps veteran, and was known for saying "Once a Marine, always a Marine." He also had a passion for fishing, especially at Promised Land Camp in Nipissing, Ontario, Canada. Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Patricia and brother Stanley Jr., he is survived by his sister Phyllis Neer of TX; his children Michelle of Cuyahoga Falls, Michael of Akron and Richard of Stow; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and lifelong friends Richard Eberly and Robert Murray. He will be missed deeply by all. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Pastor Dan Page will conduct service Thursday 1 PM at Cornerstone Community Church, 5344 Fishcreek Road, Stow 44224. Burial Stow Cemetery.
