Hubert E. Taylor, (Hugh) 88, died December 6, 2013. Born in Columbus, OH, he served his country in the Marines during WWII, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, retired from Farley Chemical Co. in 2005 and was an avid golfer.
Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Emma Jane in 2004, and Alverna in 2010 he is survived by daughter Sue Taylor, step-sons David and Rick Steidel, sister-in-law Margaret Arthurs and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 5 to 7 PM. Rev. Elizabeth Hazelton will conduct service Tuesday 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 S. Water St., Kent, OH 44224 where friends may call Tuesday from 10 AM until service time. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
