CUYAHOGA FALLS - Jacqueline (Jackie) Johnson (nee Moore), 88, passed away March 22, 2014.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident, graduate of St. Vincent High School and retired from Montgomery Ward. Jackie was a member of St. Joseph Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Setons and the Falls Cancer Club.
Preceded in death by her husband Eugene, mother Cecilia Moore and sisters Rosemary Large and Pat Jenkins, she is survived by her children Sue (John) Coleman, Judy (Barry) Schenk, John (Brenda) Johnson, Jeff (Cheryl) Johnson and Cindy Johnson (Willard Livingston); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Chuck Moore, sister-in-law Janet (George) Venable; brothers-in-law Jack Large and Leon Jenkins.
We would like to extend special thanks to the Palliative Care nurses at Akron City Hospital for their excellent care of mom.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4 to 7 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Wednesday 10 AM, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls 44221, Fr. Neil Crosby celebrant. Burial Oakwood Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
