Obituary of James A. Forsyth

James A. Forsyth, 87, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, & great-grandfather passed away April 14th, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Thelma Forsyth and his eldest son Wayne. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Jeannette, his sister Doris, daughter Janice (John), and sons, Michael

(Michele), James (Karen) and Andrew (Martha); 11 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Seminole AKA-104. He obtained a master's degree in

education from Kent State University and served as an educator & coach for over 30 years with the Cuyahoga

Falls School District.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be sent to The American Cancer Society or to Acute Palliative Care Unit 3 East, Akron City Hospital, 525 E. Market St., Akron 44304. There will be no calling hours. The family will have a private gathering later as he wished
