Janet Tackett

KENT - Janet I. (Harper) Tackett, 72, joined her husband Art in Heaven November 16, 2012 after almost 4 years apart. The two had been the owners of Tackett's Towing since the 70s, and she was a soldier in the Salvation Army Home League.

Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren and Thursday mornings with the ladies of the Home League.

Preceded in death by Art, parents Hazel and Walter Harper, and siblings Margaret Anderson, Leona Ferguson, Walter, Jr., Gerald, Jack and Roger Harper. She is survived by daughter Rhonda (Robert) Wiggins, son James (Dorothy) Tackett, Sr.; grandchildren, James Tackett, Jr., Raquel and Ryan Wiggins, brothers Tom, Richard, Gene and Gale Harper. She will be missed by all.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4 to 8 PM, and to the service conducted by Major Cynthia Foster of Salvation Army of Akron on Wednesday at 10 AM.
