AURORA- Jean L. Delaney (nee Sell), 82, died December 27, 2010.
Born in Cleveland on March 21, 1928 to Raymond and Evelyn (Gannon) Sell.
Surrounded by her loving family, our beloved mother passed away peacefully.
Preceded in death by husband Francis, she is survived by her children who were raised in Bainbridge, Hudson and Port Clinton, Barbara (Ray) Wojtkiewicz, Dee (John) Bucur and Linda (Jim) Rockefeller, all of Stow, Bill (Stephanie) of Bath, Cheryl (Ed) Kordel of Hudson, Paul (Margaret) of Laguna Niguel, CA, Jill Piunno-Hurt (Jeff) of Aurora and Rob (Carolyn) of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren Courtney (Jason) Wood, Jonathan, Bradford, Patrick, Kaitlin, Daniel, Timothy, Jeffrey, Bradley, Braeden, Shaelen, Allie, Austin, Julia, Jeffrey, Kelly and Sean; sister Marilyn (Don) Buynack; brother Bill (Alice) Sell; her brothers-in-law Patrick (Theresa), Jay (Christina), Dan (Kalen), Kevin (Anita) of California; many nieces and nephews; her loving companion Jack Huntsberger and his family and many other relatives and friends.
Jean loved to laugh and her zest for life was contagious. Her life was filled with boating, fishing, dancing and traveling.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Memorial Mass Friday 10 AM at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road (Rt. 306), Chagrin Falls. Private interment All Souls Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation ( in support of Jean's grandson Braeden) 4635 Richmond Road, Suite 103, Cleveland 44128, the Alzheimer's Association, 1815 West Market Street, Suite 301, Akron 44313 or to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S.
