Jean Ann Quinn

STOW - Jean Ann Quinn passed on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at home amongst loved ones, at the age of 97.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon, of Columbus; son, Chris, and his wife, Tracey (Cosgrove); granddaughter, Emme, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and son, Brian, of Stow.

Jean was born in White Plains, New York, into a large loving Italian family - Marchionno. She met her husband, Gerard (Jerry) Quinn, and they lived throughout the U.S. due to his job. They were married 53 years.

In Ashland, she was active at Saint Edward’s School and Church, as well as in 4-H, the Gourmet Club, and the Flower Club. An enthusiastic cook and baker with many hobbies, she celebrated every holiday and made her children’s lives wonderful. Jean lived in Stow, and until age 93, she volunteered at Good Neighbors where she was known as the “Doll Lady”, for giving out dolls at their annual Christmas celebration and to children in need.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jean’s name to One of a Kind Pet Rescue , 1929 West Market Street, Akron 44313, where we adopted our beloved Sebastian and Missy, who gave Jean such joy and love in her last years, and who will continue to be loved by Brian.
