Jennie J. Hurley

COPLEY - Jennie J. Hurley (nee Cimarelli), 89, peacefully passed away July 27, 2025.

She was born to Joseph and Jean Cimarelli, in Kent, Ohio, where she lived most of her life. Since 2023, she was a resident of Copley.

Jennie was a graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School and a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

Jennie most enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry P. Hurley, who passed away in 2023. Jennie is survived by her children, Vickie (Tom) Mann, Gene (Stephanie) Wyatt, Alice (Jim) Doyle, Monica Halvax, Jerry (Wendi) Hurley and Lisa (Mike) Dager. She is also survived by sisters, Edie (Joe) Wiencek and Flora (the late, Don) Wiley. Jennie was truly blessed with, and greatly cherished, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

Jennie will be missed by so many of us. May she rest in peace.

Father Pete Colletti will conduct Mass of the Christian Burial on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11 AM, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls 44221.

Interment Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
