Obituary of Jerry E. Brighton

Jerry E. Brighton, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2018.

Jerry loved God and loved people. He was a man of his word with integrity. His greatest love and joy was his family. He will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters, Jerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Caren (Talbot) Brighton; children Jeri (Randy) Davis, John (Tina), Jean (Matt) Micale, Josh, Jacob and Jackie; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother John (Cheryl); sister Betty (Tim) Barr, and other relatives too numerous to list.

Calling hours will be held Friday 4 to 7 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where Judge Todd McKenney will conduct a celebration of Jerry's life Saturday 10:30 AM. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Chapel Hill Christian School, 1090 Howe Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls 44221 or Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, 4687 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44224.
