Joann L. Jacobson-Kirsch

STOW - Mrs. Joann L. Jacobson-Kirsch, 59, passed away on March 9, 2025.

Born on March 16, 1965, in St. Petersburg, Florida to her mother, Treva Robishaw (Dan) Lance, of Akron, Ohio, and her father, the late Jon R. Jacobson, of Johnson City, Tennessee, Joann grew up in Akron on Garry Road. She graduated in 1984 from East High School in Akron. Joann was a resident of Stow, Ohio, since 2008.

Preceded in death by her father, Jon, and her brother, Michael Jacobson, she is survived by her daughter, Jessica Marie Jacobson, and her husband of 20 years, Mr. Gary A. Kirsch.

Private cremation plans have been made with Redmon Funeral Home of Stow.

Joann was fearless, a tempest in a teapot, a firecracker, determined, and a loving generous soul filled with kindness. We are grateful her journey has ended, and she is reunited with her loved ones that have gone before.

Her husband, Gary, asks, "Can anyone doubt that God puts exactly the right person in your path when you need them most?" HE certainly did for Joann, Jessica, and Gary. Just when the travails of life couldn't get worse, HE intervened to help them help each other.

For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do they part, Joann and Gary enjoyed 25 years together until her passing. We'll miss her terribly until we rejoin for eternity.
