John A. Mazi, Jr., 37, died May 18, 2014.
Born in Porterville, CA, he was a lifetime Stow resident. John was a 1995 graduate of Stow High School, obtained his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice at Kent State University and his law degree from the University of Akron. He was employed by Miami-Jacobs Career College and also practiced law.
Preceded in death by his mother Shirley, he is survived by his wife Lisa; son Carter; father John A., Sr., sister Michele (Mack) Gribble; his in-laws Malcolm and Sue Bartlett; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jennifer and Don Zelenak and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 5 to 8 PM, where Pastor Paul Waickman will conduct service Friday 10 AM. Private burial Silver Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity in John's name.
