John J. Vachon, 76, died August 25, 2018.

Born in Akron on December 21, 1941, he was a graduate of The University of Akron, had been employed as a cost analyst and was an avid wine collector.

He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth (Eric) Kargbo and Vickie (John) Pittner and by grandchildren Daniel (Alyssa) and Joseph Kargbo, Jackson, Zachary and Benjamin Pittner.

Services will be held Sunday 2 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 1 PM until service time. Private burial will be held at Rose Hill.
