Jonathan L. (Jonny) Whited

HUDSON - Jonathan L. (Jonny) Whited, 63, died unexpectedly at his home on September 14, 2022.

Jonny was a lifetime member of the Hudson community and owner of Whited Construction. An extremely hard worker, since 1976, his name has been synonymous with exceptional concrete work in both Ohio and other states. Many people in the concrete industry have been trained under his master concrete skills. The family is very grateful that his sons, Colton and Marshall, had the opportunity to work beside their father for many years, and will carry on the legacy of the family business.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary Jane Whited. Jonny is survived by his wife of 26 years, Katrina; children, Colton, Jade, Marshall, Jason, and Kevin; brother, G.R.; sister-in-law, Marianne; niece and nephews, Sara, Paul, and Joe.

On the weekends, Jonny and his sons enjoyed drag racing with their 1970 Chevelle. He recently rediscovered his passion for fishing and golf while spending time at their vacation home in Florida.

Jonny had a huge heart for those in need. The moment he heard of a client that was handicapped or widowed, he was in action to do their work immediately. He is so proud of his daughter, Jade, for choosing to study for a career in nursing.

A celebration of his life will be held at Highfields Event Center, 1940 Georgetown Road in Hudson, Ohio on Wednesday, September 21st between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
