STOW - Joseph P. Campo (Camposarcuno), age 95, of Stow, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 9, 2025.
Beloved husband of 75 years to Lois (nee Exline); loving father of Joseph (wife, Christine) and Donna; devoted grandfather of Nicholas Campo (deceased), Kathleen Campo, Joseph Meyers and Monica Thomas (husband, Zachary), and great-grandfather of Connor, Dylan and Aubrey; dearest brother of the late Susan D'Angelo (nee Camposarcuno); cherished uncle of Anthony Trivisonno (wife, Corrie), Patricia Nash (husband, Steven), Annette Trivisonno, Michael D'Amato (wife, Gina) and Nick D'Amato (deceased).
Joe was born in Collinwood (Cleveland) on April 18, 1930, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Joe was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow, Acker-Moore Memorial Post (VFW Post #4738 & American Legion Post #175), and the Collinwood Memories Club. He was employed by the Cleveland Crane & Engineering Company in Wickliffe, OH, and Philadelphia Tramrail.
Joe and Lois were high school sweethearts who loved to dance. They made friends wherever they moved and enjoyed their summers spent in Ocean City, NJ, and retirement in Naples, FL. Joe followed all Cleveland sports teams and had a passion for playing golf, shooting three hole-in-ones at St. Dennis, Sands Country Club, and Valley View golf course. He always looked forward to getting together with his poker card playing group on Thursday nights.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM, Fr. Michael McCandless celebrant.
Entombment All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
