Josephine Helen Aston

Josephine "Jo" Helen Aston, age 88, died on August 13 at Bath Creek Estates in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Jo was a longtime resident of Girard, Ohio where she grew up and raised her family. She loved hunting, riding motorcycles, NASCAR, her church, and her family.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband William Aston. She is survived by her children Judy Baer, Bill Aston (Nancie) and Cindy Patterson (Dale); her grandchildren, Ken Baer (Pam), Connie Baer-Hughart (Darrell), Bill Baer (Jodi), Jenni Husk (Ronnie), Kenda Patterson and Nina Patterson; her sisters Alice Piepenbrink, Bea Bullock, and Gail Thompson as well as nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Her love and laughter will be missed.
A celebration of Jo's life will take place on Tuesday, August 18 at 11 AM at Northampton United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Keith McLaughlin. The service will be followed by a luncheon and a time to greet the family. Burial will take place at 3:30 PM at the Girard-Liberty Union Cemetery.
