Josephine M. Jones

Josephine M. Jones, 87, passed away peacefully on Nov. 24, 2015. A long time resident of Cuy. Falls & Stow, she dedicated her life to her family and to the Christine Jones-Meneer School of Dance, as well as spending 25 years as a realtor in the Akron area. Jo was loving, kind and opened her arms to all those around her. She enjoyed family dinners, holidays and beating everyone at cards. Jo loved all those who were part of the School of Dance and Ballet Theatre of Ohio and embraced them as part of her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Kelly, her parents and her brother. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda (Randy) Caldwell, Debi (Rocco) Rich, Sharon (Brian) Sullivan, Christine Meneer, Kathy (Tim) Tomayko, and Jackie (Mark) Sullivan; 18 adoring grandchildren, 20 precious great-grandchildren and her sister, Francis Brent. The family would like to thank the staff at Mulberry Gardens and Crossroads, as well as MaryBeth Ott, whose kindness and compassion have been greatly appreciated.

Friends may pay their respects Mon., Nov. 30, 4pm-8pm at the Redmon Funeral Home, Stow, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, Stow, OH, on Tues., Dec. 1, at 1:45 pm, burial immediately following at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Cuy. Falls.
