Josephine F Schmitz

Jody was born May 9, 1912 in St. Paul, Kansas to Charles and Mary Nunnink and passed away February 13, 2016 at the Gardens of Western Reserve in Streetsboro, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, five other siblings and her husband Ralph Schmitz of 58 years.
After leaving Kansas at age of 18 she lived in Ohio, Florida and back to Ohio where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law until she went to the Gardens 1 year ago.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, excellent seamstress and enjoyed traveling and most of all her family and friends.

Jody is survived by daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Bill Nemec, grandchildren Bill Nemec, Shelley and Jim Chmiel, Brad and Lori Nemec, Jason and Jenny Basa Nemec and seven great grandchildren.

Cremation has occurred and a funeral Mass will be held Saturday Feb. 27 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:30 am until service time at Holy Family Parish Chapel, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224.
