CUYAHOGA FALLS - Joshua M. Wall, 43, died February 21, 2026.
Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident and a member of Northampton Bible Church. Joshua had many passions in life. A passion for video games and mini golf, hobbies through which he used to bond with family and friends and were sources of joy he got from defeating everyone.
A passion for life’s big questions - questions that moved even the world’s greatest philosophers and theologians to ponder for years.
A passion for Swensons, a place that was more than a job, it was a place to serve others. He was a consistent, uplifting presence for his coworkers, and his innovations continue to impact the company to this day.
Of these passions, the greatest was his passion for the Lord. Joshua’s constant faithfulness and commitment to his relationship with God were apparent in every portion of life. No matter if he was at home, at work, at the grocery store, or walking down the street in a rough part of town, the one thing he talked about with everyone was his faith in Jesus. Joshua led more people to Christ in many walks of life than most people realize.
God inspired Joshua to sacrifice for the people around him, despite his own struggles, pains, and sicknesses. He often took care of his grandmother, Lena, running to the store for her and sitting with her in times of need or sadness. He assisted neighbors who needed help fixing their video system, their television remote control, or their kitchen table, and he even assisted a high school friend when that friend had nowhere to turn.
Above all other actions and achievements in his life, he valued being a father the most. He leaves behind an inspiring legacy in his children, Joshua, II, and April, primarily in their salvation by faith in the Lord. He took pride in knowing that Joshua, II and April will continue using their gifts to further the kingdom of God. With all of this in consideration, it's evident that Joshua lived a life full of meaning, marked by faith and stories that shaped the lives of those around him.
He is survived by his son, Joshua M. Wall, II, and his son’s mother, Christina Saddler; his daughter, April Campbell, and her mother, Sarah Campbell; parents, Jeffrey and Tamra; brothers, Dave, Aaron, Thomas, and Jeff; sister, Rachel; his grandmothers, Lena Wall and Patricia Holley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves behind long term friends, Jason Perry and Justin Taylor.
Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 3 - 5 PM, followed by a service conducted by Pastor Joe Pryor, then a fellowship meal for friends and family with a time to share stories at the church. Events will be held at Northampton Bible Church, 333 West Steels Corners Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Northampton Bible Church.
