Obituary of Joyce B. Adkins
STOW-Joyce B. (Joe) Adkins, 85, passed May 2, 2013.
Born in Branchland, WV, he served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and had retired from Tecumseh Corrugated Box in 1984 with 15 years service.
Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and grandchildren Maggie Guinn and Daniel Adkins, he is survived by his wife of 57 years Frances; children Scott, Margaret (Chuck) Guinn, Tammy (Pat) Sumego and Robert; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and brother Holly Adkins.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 5 to 8 PM, where service will be held Wednesday 11 AM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Hattie Larlham Foundation, 9772 Diagonal Road, Mantua,OH 44255. Joe's video tribute may be seen here.
