MUNROE FALLS- Joyce A. Cottrill, 73, died April 17, 2013.
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she was a Munroe Falls resident since 1962 and an active member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Joyce loved animals (especially, her pride and joy, Peaches), decorating Christmas trees and gardening, and was an active member of the Munroe Falls Garden Club. She worked as a floral designer with Chalet Florist, and as a teller in banking. Currently she was bookkeeper of the family business, Cottrill's Kitchens and Baths. Joyce gave the gift of sight through the Lifebanc organization.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald; children Cheryl (Craig) Watts, Michael (Suzy), Scott (Paula), Mark (Robin), Troy (Melissa), Chris (Lisa) and Teresa (Rick) Kavenagh; 22 grandchildren; step-sister Kay (Dick) Suttell and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Jordan and her parents.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2 to 5 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Monday 11 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church. Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 or the Munroe Falls Garden Club, 43 Munroe Falls Ave., Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
