Obituary of Juanita M. Brubaker

Juanita M. Falor Brubaker passed from this life on September 28, 2016 to meet her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ after a short illness.
Juanita was a 1960 graduate of Akron Garfield High School and was most recently employed by Skidmore & Associates Law Firm for fifteen years before retiring in October of 2015.
She was very active in Sanctuary of Praise Church, which merged with Word of Life Church to become Relentless, of which she was a founding member and, along with her husband Robert, worked with the Young at Heart/Victorious Warriors and helped organize bus tours and class fellowship events. She especially enjoyed studying God's Word and also visiting those sick in the hospital or in home care. Bob and Juanita retired from this ministry after 25 years when they made plans to spend the winters in Florida where they were attending New Life Assembly of God.
Juanita especially enjoyed her five grandchildren, of whom she was very proud. She enjoyed traveling and especially going to the cabin at Pymatuning where she and her husband spent many hours relaxing, hiking and meditating on God's goodness with dear friends.
While in Florida she loved having guests visit and always had a room for dear friends to come and visit. The room was rarely empty as she loved to share her Father's goodness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Adelaide (Horne) Falor, aunt Leona Falor Mellin, cousin Sandra Ramsdell and sister-in-law Shirley Westfall.
She leaves her husband of 53 years Robert E.; son Steven R. of Fairlawn; daughter and son-in-law Leah and Marc Leclerc of Streetsboro; her grandchildren Avery (Lydia) Leclerc, Aaron (Rachel) Leclerc, Brianna Leclerc, Elise Brubaker and Elizabeth Brubaker; cousin Dr. Ronald Ramsdell of Las Vegas, NV, and her Brubaker brothers and sisters: Richard, Ron, Catherine, Barbara (Lloyd) and Nancy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 5 to 8 PM. Pastor Dave Fisher will conduct a celebration of life service at Relentless Church, 1878 Killian Road, Akron 44312 on Saturday, October 1 at 11 AM, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Relentless Church or New Life Assembly in Venice, FL
