Obituary of Julia B. Dubetz

Julia (Judy) Bower Dubetz, 89, passed away peacefully at home in Stow, Tuesday September 19, 2017. Born in Akron, she graduated from North High School and Ohio Wesleyan University where she majored in mathematics. She moved to Stow after her marriage to Stephen Dubetz in 1952. Mrs. Dubetz served as Vice President of Dubetz Construction Company, President of the Akron Symphony Auxiliary, and was a charter member of Silver Lake Country Club.

Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stephen in 2005, she is survived by sons, Michael E. of Stow, Stephen A. of Akron, Thomas S. of Stow; grandchildren, Stephen J., Julia M., and Michael T. of Akron, sister-in-law, Shirley Dubetz of Kent, and many nephews and nieces.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Monday from noon to service time at 1 p.m. Rev. Dr. Howard Pippin, Jr., officiating. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park.
