Obituary of Karen J. Green

Karen J. Green, 73, died May 15, 2017. Born October 17, 1943 to Dorothy and James Wilson, she graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in the class of 1962. Karen was a member of First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, where she served as Board Chair, Trustee and on various committees. She also volunteered at Akron Children's Hospital for 30 years and on the Woman's Board.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and James Wilson, and brother Jack Wilson, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard, son and daughter-in-law Jack and Kim Green, grandchildren, Harrison, Amanda and Neil Green, sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson, brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Nancy Green, Lawrence and Karen Green, sister and brothers-in-law. Patsy and Robert Boyd and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM. Pastor Debbie Saxe will conduct service Friday 11 AM at the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 2253 3rd Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
