Karen S. Knight

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Karen S. Knight, 59, beloved Mama, died November 2, 2015.

Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident and 1973 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. Karen had been employed with Revco and Summa, retiring from Summa Western Reserve Hospital after 30 years service. Karen assisted in promoting orthopedic care and awareness in video for Summa Health System. She also had a great fondness for Akron Children's Hospital.

She is survived by her husband William, who she met in November of 1970 and married at The Chapel in August 1974. Also surviving are her daughter Michele (Curtis) Gill; grandson Seth Gill; and sisters Linda (Rich) Gates, Shirley Ann Lacy and Sandra Dowler.

Service will be held Monday 11:30 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until service time. Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
