Kathleen Cotter Witner went to be with the Lord Monday morning, June 9, 2014.
Kathy was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on August 22, 1947, and moved to Stow during her high school years, graduating from Stow High in 1965. She and her husband Dave were faithful servants of their Lord for many years at the First Christian Church in Stow. Dave and Kathy lived in Florida for 7 years where she enjoyed working at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. They returned to Stow in March of this year after cancer reared its ugly head again in Kathy.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father Sherwood Cotter and her mother Dorothy McCutcheon Cotter. Kathy is survived by her husband David Witner; son Scott (Michelle) of Stow; two grandchildren, Samantha and Mikayla; two sisters Patty Caldwell (Bob) and Karen McKinney (Jack).
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 13th at Redmon Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 10 to 11AM, immediately before the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
