Keli M. White (Roose)

STOW - Keli M. White (Roose), 72, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Canton, Ohio.

Born on December 3, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, Keli spent much of her life in Stow, Ohio, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She earned her Master’s degree in Education from Kent State University and devoted her career to education. She was passionate about teaching and took great pride in guiding and inspiring her students throughout the years.

Keli was a devoted Catholic whose faith was the foundation of her life. She found joy in volunteering and giving back to her community, always offering kindness, compassion, and a helping hand to those in need. Her generous spirit and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jake White and Douglas Roose; her longtime boyfriend, Greg Young; her mother, Marie Prendergast (Waite); her father, Mathias Prendergast; her brothers, Edward Roberts and Richard Roberts; her sisters, Dorothy Roberts, Nancy Peak, and Penelope Stowe; her son, Jamie White, and her grandson, Dylan Randall.

Keli is lovingly remembered by her children. Tina Jones (Chris), Angel Henne (Brian), Jen White (Demba), Nanci Duffy (Mike), and Joi Smith (Manny). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Casey, Alex, Hunter, Matthew, Gage, Oaklyn, Dje, and Axel, and her beloved great-grandchildren, Aydin and Gavin. She will also be deeply missed by her wonderful lifelong friends, Melody Betz, Denise Dewey, and Phyllis Bambeck.

Keli’s legacy lives on in the many lives she touched as an educator, volunteer, and faithful servant of God.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224.

Private burial will be held at Stow Cemetery.
