CUYAHOGA FALLS - Laura A. Cingle, 77, died February 26, 2026.
Born in Ravenna, Ohio, she was a former long-time resident of Munroe Falls, where she proudly served as a member of the Munroe Falls City Council for many years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Akron and worked as an accountant for most of her career. Laura also found great joy in volunteering with CASA, (Court Appointed Special Advocates), for Children, advocating for those who needed a strong and caring voice.
Laura was a proud parent and grandparent and loved her family fiercely and without reservation. Though small in stature, she was truly a force to be reckoned with - strong in her convictions, generous in her love, and unwavering in her devotion. She believed life was meant to be savored and that all meals should begin with dessert first, a philosophy she happily encouraged others to follow. Her quick wit, warm heart, and determined spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her husband, John, in January of this year, and by her parents, Robert and Ethel (Smith) Hildebrand, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Amanda Cingle; grandson, Tylor Cingle; granddaughter, Karli Cingle; sister, Mary (John) Baker; brother, Doug (Janice) Hildebrand, and her sister, Sue (Joe) Lippo.
Pastor Paul Frerichs, of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls, will conduct a memorial service at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 8 PM, and where friends may call from 5 PM, until the time of the service.
Private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to CASA, 150 East Mound Street, Suite #210, Columbus, Ohio 43215 ~ ohiocasa.org
