CUYAHOGA FALLS – Laura R. James, 56, passed away on May 15, 2026.

Born in Cleveland, Laura was raised in Hudson, where she formed many lifelong friendships, many of whom lovingly refer to her as “Lucki.” She later became a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. Laura found joy in gardening, music, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, she cherished her role as “Aunt Ra Ra” to her beloved nephew and niece. Her humor, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness meant she left no enemies behind, only people who cherished her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Karen James. Laura is survived by her sister, Lisa (James) Hibbs; nephew and niece, Caden and Maya Hibbs; stepmother, Jeanne James; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224. A memorial service will follow immediately at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County.
