Obituary of Leonard E. Bartow
STOW- Leonard E. Bartow, 72, died November 25, 2010.
He was born April 14, 1938 to Robert and Retta Lovelace Bartow in Streetsboro, OH and was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Bartow. He is survived by his brothers Donald E. (Jo Ellen) Bartow and Ray (Judy) Bartow, all of Stow; sisters Mary (Henry) Craft of Cuyahoga Falls and Beatrice Grubb of Streetsboro and many nieces and nephews.
Leonard retired from Alltel as a lineman after 47 years service. He volunteered for the Black Hawk Drum and Baton Corps and was dearly loved by all the kids and parents for 29 years. He lived from year to year for all the trips with the Corps and his brothers Ray and Donnie and the whole Tackett family. He had such good memories of fishing on the lakes with his nephew Donnie Reck, his caregiver this past year.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 4 to 6 PM, where Pastors Kenneth Tharp and Nelson Carter will conduct services Monday 2:30 PM. Burial Maple Lawn Cemetery.
