STOW- Lou Ann Stearns, 87, died December 25, 2014.
Born in Ft. Wayne, IN, she graduated from South Side High School in Ft. Wayne and from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority since 1945 and she was an active member of the Akron Chapter of the Pi Beta Phil Alumni. Lou Ann was a member of the Hudson United Methodist Church.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents Millard and Leona Kelley. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald; daughter Jennifer of Oakwood Village, OH; son Jeffrey of Stow; grandchildren Dylan, Alexandra and Isabelle.
A special thanks to the Maison Aine nursing home for their excellent care during Lou Ann's stay.
The family will receive friends Saturday January 3rd between 1 and 2 PM at the Hudson United Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Hospice of Northeast Ohio, the Alzheimer's Association or the Hudson United Methodist Church.
