Lynda M. Franz

STOW - Lynda M. Franz, 69, died November 5, 2023.

Born in Cleveland, she has been a resident of Akron since 1981. Lynda had been employed with Citi Financial as a loan officer, and later with UDS, where she retired in 2019. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Akron. Lynda enjoyed hiking, walking, going to church, and visiting Amish country. She came from a family of musicians and had a great love of music.

Preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Matilda Franz, and fiancé, Ron Braun. She is survived by her daughter, Cori (Matt) Hammer; grandchildren, Christian, Kyle, Callie, and Kendall Hammer; siblings, Wally (Jeannie) Franz, Leslie (Steve) DeDauw, Jason (Kristen) Franz, and Donna (Leslie) Carroll; five nieces, and a nephew.

Fr. Michael McCandless will conduct memorial service Sunday, November 12, 2023, 3:00 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224 where friends may call from 1 PM until service time.
