Marilyn Hoffman

Marilyn Hoffman (Proehl), a 55 year resident of Stow passed from this life to be with her Mom in Heaven on Tuesday, August 23, 2016.

Her love of family and friends was strong and was evident through her ability to take such great care of all. She loved to garden, craft and keep busy helping others, including her community members, through her many years of service as the secretary of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Don Hoffman, who says she was the sweetest lady ever; their three children, Bob (Barb) of Wadsworth, Bill (Shelley) of Hollywood, Florida, and Jean (Kelvin) of Stow; as well as her sister, Marge Villers of Stow; and niece, Tracy (Jeff) who will all dearly miss her loving ways. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Ashley, Jake, Brett, Kyle and Kelsea; and her two dear great-grandchildren, Chance and Lylah; and all of Don's family as well.

Marilyn's family wishes to share fond memories through a Celebration of Life Open House held on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at the Silver Springs Lodge in Stow, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
