Obituary of Marion Klinges

Marion M. Klinges, 96, passed away January 12, 2019.

Born in Akron, she was a longtime area resident, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Marion moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2004. She enjoyed volunteer work at Akron City Hospital and flower gardening.

Marion was preceded in death by her first husband, John Kenneth Barder, in 1977, her second husband, Lee Klinges in 2002, daughter, Karen L. Barder; and brother, Charles E. Bittaker. She is survived by daughter, Frances (M. Daniel) Sipka of Columbus; two step-daughters; Barbara (Richard) Carter, Patricia (Jay) Starling, grandson; Ryan (Elaine) Sipka; five step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Friday 2 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 1 PM until service time.
