LAKEWOOD - Mark Joseph Beeson, 27, currently of Lakewood, formerly of Stow, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2026.

Born on October 10, 1998, Mark lived life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. He was happiest seeking adventure wherever it could be found. Whether traveling to new destinations, skateboarding, driving across the country, skiing down a mountain, jumping out an airplane, laying on the pavement of the Autobahn, or simply spending time in nature with a pet, Mark embraced life fully and encouraged others to do the same.

Mark graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June, 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Throughout his career, he approached each endeavor with a willingness to learn, help and connect with people from all walks of life. However, more than his accomplishments, Mark will be remembered for the qualities that made him so deeply loved. He had an easy smile, kind disposition, and a knack for making anyone laugh.

One of Mark’s greatest joys was playing recreational baseball with Forest City 25+, second only to his love for his beloved golden retriever, Miles, whose companionship brought him immeasurable happiness. He also shared a special bond with his family, friends and treasured the relationships that shaped his life.

Mark is survived by fur-son, Miles; his father, Michael Beeson; his mother, Minnette Prince; his sister, Michelle Mercer and her husband Derek Mercer, niece Kinsley Mercer; his surviving grandparents, Joyce and Richard A. Prince, Sr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was dearly loved by his family, extended relatives, and many friends, all of whom will carry his memory forward in their hearts.

In the days and years ahead, those who knew and loved Mark will remember not only the places he traveled and the adventures he pursued, but also the kindness he shared, the conversations he cherished, and the joy he brought to the lives of others.
