Obituary of Mary Kay Castner

Mary Kay Castner, 81, died June 12, 2017. Born in Akron, she loved to quilt and had retired as a social worker.

Preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Kehrle, she is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom, daughters Meg (David) Edwards, Laura Castner, sons Ken (Leslie) Castner and Paul (Rae Lynn) Castner, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, sisters Karen (Bud) Quick, Judy (Tom) Howard, and brother John (Rosemarie) Kehrle.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 5 to 7 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted Friday 10AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Father Kevin Klonowski celebrant, and where friends may call from 9 AM until service time. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Association or Senior Animal Adoption Programs.
