Mary Jo Gilmore

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Jo Gilmore, 89, died August 20, 2014.

Born in Girard, TX, she had retired as an Assistant Manager for First Merit Bank with over 20 years of service. She also served with the Stow Police as a crossing guard and teaching Safety Town since 1999 and was a volunteer for the Cuyahoga Falls Library, delivering books to shut-in's.

Preceded in death by parents Robert J. and Ethel Gilmore; son Ronnie Sanders; grandson Todd Sanders; brother, Robert Gilmore; and sister and brother-in-law Billie and Elmer, she is survived by her children, William R. "Rusty" (Linda) Sanders, Tamara (Mattingly) Reed, Tonya R. Green; 3 grandchildren, Stacey (Bernie) Rayoni, Michael (Mary) Sanders, Joseph Mattingly, Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; loving son-in-law Joseph Mattingly, Sr. and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, 1 to 3 PM. Pastor Chris McCombs will conduct service at Broadman Baptist Church, 350 E. Bath Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Monday 11 AM. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
