Mary M. Jacoby

Mary Margaret (Parham) Jacoby went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 13, 2016. Born in Sandusky, Ohio, she had lived in Stow for the past 35 years. Mary was a member of the Chapel for 43 years where she spent many hours volunteering and caring for everyone who crossed her path. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling and being a member of the Stow Sunshiners. Her greatest passion was caring for children in the neonatal unit at Akron Children's Hospital where she worked 20 years, and extended her love to her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bertrum and Dorothy Roth, and brother Donald Roth, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bill Jacoby; children Susan (Michael) Shaffer, Sharen (Thomas) Santell, Donald (Bobbie) Parham, daughter by marriage Rebeca (Thomas) Deyo; grandchildren, Daniel Shaffer, Crystal (Aaron) Uhl, Jackolyn (Aaron) Casanova, Rachel Deyo,5 great grandchildren and sister Shirley Morgan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday 1 PM, April 18, 2016, at Redmon Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating and where friends may call from 11 AM until time of service. Burial at Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to operationsmile.org or campcarl.life.
