SILVER LAKE - Mary A. Simms, 90, passed away January 21, 2014.
Born in Goshen, Illinois, Mary was an area resident for over 80 years. She loved children, gardening, camping, bowling, playing cards and had been a member of Holy Family Catholic Church since 1954.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Donald; she is survived by children Sue (Glenn), Michael (Josephine), Twikie (Jim), Gayle (Ron), and Martin; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 6 to 8 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
