MUNROE FALLS- Mary Speaks, 65, died peacefully and joined the love of her life, her husband Jim, in Heaven on February 4, 2014.
Born in Akron, she was a resident of Munroe Falls since 1975 and worked in area schools for much of her adult life. Mary was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. She leaves behind many close friends and family. She adored her grandchildren and they brought her great joy. She was blessed to have the care of the staff at The Briarwood and Hospice in the last years of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband Jim in 1997, her parents John and Marie Moleskey; in-laws Joseph and Pauline Speaks; sisters-in-law Jeanne, Lynn and Margaret and brother-in-law Tom, she is survived by her daughters Laurie (Casey) McNicholas of Twin Lakes, Julie (Michael) Wilson of Delaware, OH and Karen (Rich) Neupert of Tallmadge; grandchildren Hailey, Nick, Cole, Samantha, Josh, Max, Isabella and Elliott; sisters Barbara (Rudy) Bongiovanni and Catherine (Paul) Mungo, all of Akron; brother John (Gina) Moleskey of Naples, FL and nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 4 to 7 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls 44221, Fr. Neil Crosby celebrant. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
