Obituary of Maryanna Dannemiller

Maryanna Dannemiller (Flogge), 74, passed away Friday, September 7th, 2018 after losing a courageous battle with cancer.

Maryanna was born in Ravenna, Ohio to Andy and Verna Flogge. She was president of her senior class at Kent Roosevelt High School and later attended Kent State University.

She worked in Akron for Shrader- Bellows as a data entry operator and later worked and retired from Waltco Truck Equipment in Tallmadge as a secretary for the hydraulics division.

Maryanna married her former classmate, Henry Dannemiller, and would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year.

She enjoyed working around the house, collecting antiques and traveling throughout New England going to antique shows. She loved working in the garden growing flowers and herbs, and was a member of the Evening Herb Club. She loved spending time with her godson, Andrew, and was known to the neighbors as Mrs. Henry.

Preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Verna Flogge, she is survived by her husband, Henry Dannemiller of Kent, brother Joe Flogge of Wadsworth, niece Jocelyn (Flogge) Chiurco (Michael), godson, Andrew Chiurco, and many cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday 11 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, Father Pete Colletti Celebrant, and where friends are invited for visitation Thursday from 9:30 AM until Mass time. Interment Standing Rock Cemetery.
