Michael A. Corbissero

Michael A. Corbissero, died July 15, 2015. Born in Ashtabula, he lived most of his life in the Akron area. A graduate of Kent State University, he was a member of Delta Upsilon, the Swing Machine and various other musical organizations. He was an instrumental music teacher and director of the Cuyahoga Falls Bands.
Preceded in death by his wife Helen , daughter Liz Lovell and parents Michael and Carmelita, he is survived by daughter Michele (Keith) Allen of Helotes, TX; sister Cecelia (Tom) Whapham of Michigan; granddaughters, Marisa ("Biggie") and Erika ("E") Lovell, son-in-law Tim Lovell and nephew John Whapham, MD of Chicago, IL.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM where service will be conducted Wednesday 10 AM. Interment Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
