Michael K. Swinehart, 42, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on June 19, 2014.
Mike found joy in simple things - having bonfires at home, cast iron cooking, collecting old tools, and laughing with close friends and family. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping and watching wildlife, yet bow hunting was his real passion. Mike was gentle, kind, and loving, and was devoted to wife Janet, the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Jean Thompson and Jerry Swinehart. He is survived by his wife Janet; stepmother Bobbie Swinehart; daughter Jessica; stepsons Adam and Nicholas; sisters Donna and LeeAnn; brothers Jerry Jr., David, Steven and Rob; special aunt, Donna; and many other family and friends.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 25th at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow, where a memorial service will follow at 7pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses in care of Redmon Funeral Home.
