Michael R. O'Connell

Michael Robert O'Connell, 61, of Stow, Ohio, passed away on November 21, 2017.

Michael was born in Flint, MI to Robert S. and Normalee O'Connell on August 12, 1956. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert S. O'Connell, he is survived by his wife, Dru; his daughters, Nicole Clark (Jeff) of North Canton, and Ashley O'Connell of Stow; his son, Jason O'Connell (Nina), of Mckinney, TX; his grandchildren, Madailein, Caitlyn, and Cillian; mother, Normalee of Flushing, MI; brother, Steve (Lisa) of Hudsonville, MI; sisters, Rita of Lockport, NY, Ruth of Grand Blanc, MI, and Mary of Cottontown, TN.

Remembering him is easy, it's missing him that will take time to accept.

As we continue to move through the Sea of Life we will look for his light that shines brightly atop the lighthouse. We will climb the steps covered in our tears and be reunited to shine brighter for others.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, where calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. and where funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Mike to the family.
