Obituary of Michele M. Powell
STOW - Michele M. Powell, 54, passed away November 2, 2014.
Born and raised in Akron, Michele was a Stow resident since 1991. While raising her children, she also earned several degrees from the University of Akron and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 2009. She then served others as a substance abuse counselor.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Rachel, Michele is survived by her husband of 23 years, Scott; daughter, Sarah; son, Nicholas; and parents Robert and Rose Marie (Sabo) Rachel.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday, 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taussig Cancer Institute at The Cleveland Clinic.
