Obituary of Otis Duane Lukens
Otis Duane "Odie" Lukens, 70, passed away peacefully December 6, 2010. Odie grew up in the Stow/ Kent area and owned Sunny Dell Farms and drove dump truck for years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Duane H. and Rosemary E. Lukens and wife Marsha, he will be greatly missed by his children Michelle (Richard) Falkenstein, Cindy (Matt) Wagner, and David (Kate) Lukens. He also leaves his grandchildren Riley and Brody Wagner and brother Frank (Pat) Lukens.Odie will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his never-grow-up attitude.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Friday 10 AM. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Portage County Humane Society/ Portage Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Road, P.O. Box 927, Ravenna, OH 44266.
