Cuyahoga Falls- Pamela S. McClung, 66, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2026.
She was born August 19, 1959, in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Robert (Bob) Riley, Sr and Thelma Riley. She was a member of Encounter Church in Streetsboro. She found a great comfort, faith, and hope in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Pam worked for many years in nursing homes and retirement communities. It brought her immense joy. Pam loved nature, especially birds. She had many birdfeeders around her house to feed and enjoy the birds. She loved vacationing at the beach in Topsail, NC, where you could find her fishing off the pier with her husband, John. She loved her family deeply and loved spending time with them. She brought the crazy games and shenanigans to every family get together. Pam absolutely loved Christmas. Every year the inside and outside of the house was fully decorated. She was a very compassionate and loving person that cared deeply for everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John; her daughters, Jamie (Rodney) Ross, and Rebecca (Scott) Zirke; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Shaffer, Hannah Shaffer, Ryann Ross and Reagan Ross; great-granddaughters, Brinley Shaffer and Baby Girl Georgia due this Fall; sisters, Cindy Heroux, Georgine Gibson, and Leann Riley; brother, Tim (Patti) Riley; brothers-in-law, Steve (Lisha) McClung and Dan McClung; sister-In-law, Stacy Viningre; her cats, Thomas, Little Girl, and String Bean; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends may call 2 PM to 4 PM, Monday, August 3, 2026, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224, where a service will follow at 4:00pm, Bishop Michael J. Rice officiating. Cremation will follow and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
