Patricia S. Roberts

Patricia Sue Roberts, age 84, a longtime resident of Stow, died at Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Berea, West Virginia, on September 14, 1932 and was the daughter of Denzel and Dora Mae (Frey) Campbell. Pat lived in Louisiana until she was 10 years old and received her later education in Harrisville, WV schools. She married Benjamin Roberts on November 18, 1949 in Clarksburg, WV. He died in 2003.

Pat retired from Alltel Communications in Hudson as supervisor of the toll fraud investigation division. Her interests included reading, watching Cleveland Indians baseball, making hand-dipped chocolates, gardening and knitting, but she most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Jerry) Mattison of Russell, PA, Carey (Vince) Rich of Tallmadge, and Cathy (John) Walsh of Stow, and one son, Steven (Sylvia) Roberts of Cuyahoga Falls. She leaves eight grandchildren, Brook, Julian, Kara, Jessica, Bryan, Daniel, Emily, and Steven, and eight great-grandchildren, Hayley, Benjamin, Kayla, Lauryn, Kiley, Keagan, Ella and Olive. She also leaves one sister, Marge Cox, of Parkersburg, WV and one brother, Joe (Sally) Campbell, of Warsaw, Ohio, and nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Gene Campbell and John Ed Campbell.

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 17, 2017. Interment will follow at Silver Springs Cemetery.
